Student & Alumni Pinning Ceremony

“It is today that we come together to formally acknowledge, as a group, our commitment to serving in one of the most noble of professions: that of the teacher.”
– Michelle Prytula, Dean, College of Education

The work of a teacher is immeasurable in its influence.  A great teacher not only affects one child or one classroom, but, through their careful, caring, and deliberate work, the work of the teacher extends to the community, the field, and the nation.
The College of Education pinning ceremony is an opportunity for all College alumni and third-year teacher candidates to be recognized for their deep commitment to the profession.  Please join us for this significant event, and be acknowledged for your dedication to the student, family, and the community.
