The College of Education’s pinning ceremony is an opportunity for all new teacher candidates, partners, and college alumni to acknowledge as a group, the teacher’s deep commitment to the profession and the critical relationships that exist between the teacher and student, family, community, and society.
Through this ceremony, we come together in solidarity, in community, and in mutual support of a noble purpose, of hard work, and of a profound commitment to a cause far larger than ourselves.
This fall, we were excited to offer alumni our first out-of-province Pinning Ceremony, held in Calgary on October 5th, 2017 at Bishop Grandin High School. Bachelor of Education alumni from the Calgary and surrounding area joined us to take the Educator's Profession and receive their pin. Photos of the event can be found on the College of Education Flickr feed.
The College of Education runs an on-line clothing and memorabilia store in May and September each year. Please check back in Fall 2017 for the store re-opening.
