From the four different cooling bins, the wild rice will go to be bagged. The short/broken wild rice is handled differently from the other three grades.
The short/broken grains come down a pipe to a large collection bag. This rice will be used in commercial soups to make the soup extra good, or will be used for making wild rice flour (to give a special flavour to things such as pancakes).
The other grades of wild rice also come down a pipe from their cooling bins, into a final cleaning process.
