Join us at the Graham Centre for an innovative and dynamic workshop where Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL) scholars, both new and experienced, come together in a hack-a-thon style event. This two-day workshop is designed to foster collaboration, creativity, and the development of impactful SoTL projects. Participants will engage in hands-on activities, brainstorming sessions, and collaborative project building, all aimed at exploring the endless possibilities within SoTL. Whether you're looking to start a new project or enhance an existing one, this event will provide the inspiration, tools, and community support you need to shine in your SoTL endeavors.
Registration
Your registration fee includes participation in all sessions and events, workshop materials and lunch for two days. Room reservations are separate from conference registration.

- $149.95 - Student registration fee
Registration and payments will be completed through eventbrite. University of Saskatchewan faculty and staff have the option to pay through their university CFOAPAL account.

Workshop Facilitators

Dr. Anita Acai recently joined the Teaching and Learning Exchange at George Brown College as Director, Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL). She joined from McMaster University and St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton, where she worked as an assistant professor and education scientist. Anita brings both national and international connections to communities of practice in SoTL and education scholarship and leadership. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Society for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education (STLHE) and is the coordinator and an alumna of STLHE's 3M National Student Fellowship Program. She was also a founding member of the International Journal for Students as Partners through its International Advisory Group and Services as an associate Editor for the Canadian Journal for the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning and as a senior section editor for the Canadian Medical Education Journal.
Hotel Information

The conference will be held in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, at the University of Saskatchewan. A block of hotel rooms are available at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites East-University. The hotel is wihin walking distance to the University and close to restaurants. The conference rate of $149/night is available until April 1, 2025 (Group Code: S25).
