| Some medium grade wild rice, for example, has been placed on one of our gravity tables, the green machine. The worker holding a stick inspects the wild rice to catch any foreign objects. The gravity tables do a cleaning job similar to the de-stoner. A fine screen floor vibrates gently. You can see waves of rice in the picture below. | |||||||||||||

| The floor is sloped down toward the back-right side of the gravity table. Air is blown upward through the screen floor to make the wild rice seem lighter. Any heavy foreign objects drop to the screen floor and are moved up hill towards the left front side in the picture. | |||||||||||||
