The College of Education (USask) is thrilled to host Drs. Ogola and Njihia as part of a larger international partnership between Kenyatta University (KU), led by Dr. Janet Okoko (PhD), Associate Professor, Department of Educational Administration.
This collaborative international project between KU and USask is grounded in action research and aims to build capacity for practitioner-oriented and technology-mediated research among basic education (K-12) school leaders. Three graduate students from the KU School of Education visited USask on Global Affairs Canada, Study in Canada scholarships.
The project purpose is to respond to the questions: what context specific practitioner oriented, and technology-mediated research skills do faculty, students and school leaders need to enhance quality education for sustainable development (ESD)? How can practitioners be equipped with the essential research knowledge, skills and dispositions needed for education that supports ESD? The research team also includes Dr. Purity Muthima from KU and Drs. Dirk Morrison and Vicki Squires from USask.
Join us for a visiting lecture by Drs. Okoko, Ogola and Njihia during the visit to USask in November!
