Certificate Programs in Indigenous Languages Launched

ITEP and the Department of Curriculum Studies launch a new certificate

The Indian Teacher Education Program (ITEP) and Department of Curriculum Studies, College of Education, have partnered to create the Indigenous Language Certificate. It is a two-year certificate, consisting of 10 courses and 30 credit units. The certificate program was developed by Kevin Lewis.

Dean of Education, Michelle Prytula, was interviewed by Jennifer Jacoby-Smith from the The Star Phoenix. The resulting article can be viewed online.
